As a Cosmic Guardian at Kid Explorer Club Corporation, you'll embody the dual role of Aquatic Specialist and Swim Maestro. Your mission is to ensure the safety of our aquatic realm while igniting a passion for swimming among our young campers. 

Responsibilities: 

Aquatic Safety and Mastery: 

• Vigilantly supervise swimming activities, enforcing safety policies, and executing emergency procedures with precision and confidence. 
• Administer first aid, perform rescues, and deliver CPR or artificial respiration as necessary, safeguarding the well-being of our campers. 

Swim Instruction and Progress Tracking: 

• Guide small groups of campers through pre-written swim curriculum, fostering skill development and confidence in the water. 
• Produce detailed weekly swim reports for each camper, documenting progress and areas for improvement with accuracy and timeliness. 

Camp Atmosphere and Community Engagement: 

• Welcome families to camp with infectious enthusiasm and coordinated procedures, setting a positive tone for the day's aquatic adventures. 
• Represent Kid Explorer Club Corporation with professionalism and warmth, building rapport with families and facility partners alike. 

Team Collaboration and Adaptability: 

• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow staff members, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support other program areas as needed. 
• Handle unexpected challenges with resilience and a proactive mindset, prioritizing camper experience and team success above all else. 

About You:

• Minimum age of 16 with at least 2 years of high school completed or equivalent professional experience. 
• Proficiency in swimming and comfort in aquatic environments for extended periods. 

• Ability to work effectively with children of all ages and backgrounds, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm. 

Required Certification: 

• Lifeguard Certification and First Aid & CPR Certification, or the ability to obtain them before May 30, 2024. 
• Lifeguard certification bonus available upon completion of required certifications.
