As the Tiny Titans Program Director at Kid Explorer Club Corporation, you'll spearhead a team of counselors in delivering captivating and immersive experiences to our youngest campers. Your leadership will transform themes into adventures, turning play into a powerful tool for learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

Camp Program Leadership:

• Rally and guide a team of 8 to 16 counselors in executing pre-written, theme-based curriculum for our 3-6-year-old campers, fostering a dynamic and engaging camp environment.
• Lead morning and afternoon program meetings, setting the tone for active supervision, adherence to policies, and hands-on teaching of program content.

Curriculum Management and Innovation:

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of materials for weekly themed activities, ensuring seamless execution and maximum engagement among campers.
• Act as the first responder to any behavior management situations, offering support to both campers and counselors in fostering positive growth and development.

Safety and Well-being:

• Prioritize the physical, social, and emotional safety of campers, providing hands-on support to foster their growth and development.
• Anticipate and address any issues related to curriculum, facilities, or scheduling, proactively implementing solutions to ensure a smooth and enriching camp experience.

Community Engagement and Representation:

• Serve as the face of Kid Explorer Club Corporation, embodying enthusiasm, helpfulness, and professionalism in interactions with families and facility partners.
• Lead by example in efforts to maintain and enhance the camp facility, fostering a sense of pride and ownership among staff members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 20 with at least 2 years of undergraduate experience or equivalent professional background.
• Strong background in education and child development, with a passion for fostering growth and learning in young children.
• Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments, demonstrating physical stamina and adaptability to dynamic camp activities.

Required Certification:

• First Aid & CPR Certification, or the ability to obtain them before May 30, 2024.
