At Kid Explorer Club, our Swim Instructors play a vital role in providing top-tier swim instruction to campers aged 3-12. With a focus on safety, enthusiasm, and personalized development, you'll bring our swim program to life, ensuring every camper gains confidence and skill in the water.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safety:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all participants, prioritizing the well-being of campers and adhering to rigorous safety protocols.
- Deliver small-group swim lessons using our pre-designed curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs and abilities of each camper.
Inspiring Growth:
- Foster the physical, social, and emotional development of campers, offering support, encouragement, and guidance as they progress in their swim skills.
- Build rapport with campers, getting to know their unique strengths and challenges, and motivating them to reach their full potential.
Representing Excellence:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Kid Explorer Club, embodying our values of enthusiasm, helpfulness, and professionalism in all interactions with families and facility partners.
- Contribute actively to the upkeep of our camp facility, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for all campers and staff.
Being a Team Player:
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to coordinate camp logistics, handle unexpected challenges, and deliver a seamless camp experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, willing to support other programs and activities as needed.

- Adhere to camp policies, including our Cell-Phone free policy, ensuring a distraction-free environment focused on camper safety and engagement.
About You:
- Minimum age of 16, with at least 2 years of high school completed or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in swim instruction preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training to all staff.
- Must be comfortable swimming and spending extended periods in a pool environment.
- First Aid & CPR Certification required, or ability to obtain before May 30, 2024.
